Both teams from Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) successfully got “The Merit Winner” and “The Winner” in the international competition: Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) 2011 which took place in Pattaya Thailand. Isara team as the WINNER in the category e-Inclusion and e-community of APICTA 2011, the sparkins team as a MERIT WINNER for Student Project category Teritary of APICTA 2011.
In order to welcomed Dies UKKSU XVII, Culture and Arts Unit North Sumatra (UKKSU) of Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) organized a art and culture show of North Sumatra. Arts and cultural event got Portrait of North Sumatra harmony as the theme. The event took place at the Multipurpose Building (GSG) of IT Telkom, Saturday (12/11), at 18:00.

Lecture followed by IT Telkom postgraduate and bachelor students, Thursday (10/11), in Multimedia Room Learning Centre, IT Telkom. Public lecture took the topic : Development Opportunities in Research in Quantum Computing and its Implementation Strategy. Infocom's Career Development Center of Telkom Institute of Technology (iCDC IT Telkom) held IT Telkom Jobfair 2011. The most awaited event by job seekers were held for two consecutive days, Wednesday-Thursday (9-10/11), at 09.00 am until late afternoon. The event took place at the Convention Hall Landmark Building, Braga street 129, Bandung.
In order to motivate and develop the interest of lecturers in generating scientific publications in the Textbook form that suitable with disciplines and courses, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education in the year 2011 held a socialization "Incentive Program in Writing College Textbook". 
Saturday (29/10), IT Telkom Faculty of Science in cooperation with Telkomsel organized Internet training for Highschool (SMA/SMK) teachers in West Java regional with theme: "Internet for Supporting Education Quality Improvement". This activity is one form of social service in the Faculty of Science. The training was attended by 50 SMA / SMK teachers and was held in the Multimedia, Learning Center, IT Telkom.|

She was born on 1977. She comes from Semarang. She began her career in IT Telkom since 2002. She is an Informatics lecturer at IT Telkom. She teaches Algorithm and Data Structure, Design and Algorithm Analysis, and Analysis and Design of Information System.
He was born on 1975 and comes from Temanggung. He is one of lecturers in Faculty of Informatics. He once served as the Dean of Faculty of Informatics at IT Telkom.
She was born on 1982 and comes from Banjarmasin. She is a lecturer of Faculty of Informatics. She began her teaching career at IT Telkom in 2006.
She was born on 1973 in Klaten. She is one of IT Telkom lecturers for Bahasa Indonesia under Faculty of Science
He was born 1976. He is from Purwakarta. He is one of the lecturers of Faculty of Informatics. He began his career at IT Telkom since 2003. He once served as the Head of Computer System and Computer Network Laboratory. He was also the Head of Bachelor Program in Faculty of Informatics in 2008.
Once again, one of IT Telkom students earned outstanding award in national level. His name is Ahmad Agung Ahkam, an Informatics student from the class of 2007. He won achieved a gold medal in the National Mathematics and Science Olympic for University Students (ON MIPA-PT).
