About the Program
The program of Master Degree in Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering was established in 1999 with the issuing Letter of Acknowledgement from General Directorate of Higher Education of National Education Department No. 429/Dikti/Kep/1999, and the Letter of Acknowledgement from General Directorate of Higher Education No. 586/D/T/2006 and has been accreditated by the Board of National Accreditation of Higher Education No. 017/BAN-PT/Ak-VI/S2/XI/2008.
This program refers to the Letter of Acknowledgement issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesian Republic No. 0686/U/1991 and No. 234/U/2000 which stated the requirements to finish 36 – 50 credits within a period of study between 3 – 10 semesters in order to obtain Master Degree of Engineering (ref. KeputusanMendikbud RI no. 036/U/1993)
The curriculum of this program has a minimum of 36 credits with a period of study between 3 – 6 semesters and focuses on the topic of Wireless Communication and Telecommunication Management.

Mission
· To run Tri Dharma of Higher Education on the master program focusing on wireless communication and telecommunication management.
· To meet the needs of qualified manpower nationally or even internationally in the field of communication technology.
· To produce graduates who are capable of developing and implementing communication technology in the service industry as well as telecommunication business.
Targets of the Program
The aims of the program areto provide the graduates with:
· The ability to develop and improve the science and technology in the field of communication, by mastering the procedures and its applications.
· The ability to troubleshoot and solve the problems in telecommunication engineeringthrough research and development based on scientific procedures.
· The ability to conduct professional performance and the ability to solve problems through accurate analysis and good conduct of the profession’s ethics
· The ability to always develop their independence skillsas well as social skills.

· Starting from the first semester the students have been actively involving inresearch held bythe institutewith the expectation to increase the students’ research skillsin the field of Infocom.
· Having good links with the telecommunication industries allows the students to conduct authentic research so that the results are applicable in the industry.
Prospective Students
Prospective students need to be graduatesfrom electrical engineering, information technology, physical engineering, physical science, or mathematics with adequate English ability, represented by minimum TOEFL score of 475 or IELTS score of 4.5.
Available Program
The master program of IT TELKOM Electro-Telecommunication Engineering covers 36 credits in three semesters. It has two programs available: Regular Program and ModularProgram.
Regular program are held in the IT TELKOM classrooms during weekdays (Monday to Friday) for every course taken.
Modular program areheld in classesas well as distance learning via video conference. The distance learning is run from Monday to Thursday and classesareheld on Friday from 6.30 pm – end as well as Saturday. This has six Modules, and each Module is equivalent to six credits.
