S2 Electrical and Communication Engineering

Postgraduate Study Program consists of two main programs:

  • Regular program
  • Modular program

Regular program

Postgraduate (S2) Study Program Electrical - Telecommunication Engineering regular program is designed with a total burden of 36 credits for the course duration of 1.5 years or 3 semesters.

This Regular program consists of two Specialization Skills, namely:

  • Wireless Communications
  • Telecommunication Management

Specialization in Special Expertise Wireless Communications provide additional competencies in graduates that have the ability to control aspects of wireless communication technology as well as business and regulatory aspects.

Specialization in Special Expertise Telecommunications Management provides additional competencies that graduate have the ability to control aspects of engineering and management of telecommunications networks as well as business and regulatory aspects.

In addition to receiving bachelor graduates degree in Electrical Engineering in general, Electrical - Telecommunications Engineering Postgraduate (S2) Study Program is also expected to be a linear continuation of studies on S1 Telecommunication Engineering Program. Therefore, taking the study load Electrical - Telecommunication Engineering Postgraduate Study Program for 6 credits have started to be taken as an extra when students who have excellent academic achievement is still in the study period S1 in Telecommunication Engineering Program, so the study load in Electrical - Telecommunication Engineering Postgraduate Study Program should be lived residual 30 credits.

Modular Program

In addition to the programs carried out regularly Electrical - Telecommunication Engineering Postgraduate Study Program also organizes Modular Program, consists of two Specializations in Special Areas, namely:

  • Wireless Communication
  • Telecommunication Management

The structure of modular program curriculum arranged in module units, where one module is equivalent to 6 credits.

  1. Organizing Master Program education in the field of Telecommunications;
  2. Conducting research and develop innovations in the field of Telecommunication either independently or in cooperation with local industry and overseas;
  3. Producing graduates who are able to develop and implement technology to the needs of telecommunications networks and telecommunications services industries.
