S1 Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree Study Program is opened according to the Decree DIKTI number 108/DT/2007 dated on January 16, 2007.
Curriculum Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree Study Program is designed with a total load 144 credits for the course duration 4 years / 8 semesters. For students who can keep the grade of Semester not less than 3.00 at each end of the semester have been provided the study of planning through Curriculum Acceleration Scheme 3.5 years / 7 semesters.

Vision

Being Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree Study Program that is able to produce graduates skilled in electrical engineering, able to practice science, able to develop themselves in the field of telecommunications and information technology, have working attitude, be a good people in society, through institutional development, infrastructure, and resources.

Mission

Organizing good quality education in the field of Electrical Engineering, developed the academic atmosphere, laboratories utilization, developing a curriculum appropriate graduate’s user’s expectation competencies.

Program educational Objectives

Target implementation Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree Study Program is directed to the graduates to have the following qualifications:

  1. Give students an understanding of basic knowledge, skills, expertise, and insight in the field of electrical engineering (Electronics and Instrumentation), so that graduates are able to answer the problems in the field of Electrical Engineering expertise, particularly the fields of Electronics and Instrumentation in the society.
  2. Give students wide scale insights in the contemporary development of Electrical Engineering (Concentration Electronic Systems) expertise, Control and Instrumentation and other aspects related to further promote the progress of graduates’ careers.
  3. Give students good communication skills, professional and responsible personality, have ability in managerial and self-development (entrepreneurship) by promoting behavior and professional ethics, so they can prepare themselves for a complex work environment.
  4. Provide a supportive academic atmosphere so that students can achieve their targets in the form of an innovative program that sharp, challenging, open and conducive.

Outcomes Program

Electrical Engineering Bachelor Degree Study Program aimed for producing graduates who have the ability to:

  1. The graduates have the ability to apply basic knowledge of mathematics and science into the problems of engineering.
  2. The graduates have the ability to design and conduct experiments, analysis and interpretation of data and use the results to fix the process.
  3. The graduates have the ability to do the design, implementation, and verification of electronic systems and instrumentation controls as needed / specifications.
  4. The graduates have the ability to interact, collaborate and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  5. The graduates have the ability to identify, analyze, and solve engineering problems in the field of electronics and instrumentation by following scientific principles.
  6. The graduates have an ethical, professional and social responsibility as a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
  7. The graduates have the ability to conduct scientific and social communication effectively, both verbal and in writing, in a scientific forum, as well as in his profession.
  8. The graduates have insight on the general knowledge needed to understand the influence of engineering solutions in a social context or the global context.
  9. The graduates have the awareness to keep life-long learning, and be open to the changes.
  10. The graduates have insight on the latest technological developments in the field of electronics and instrumentation engineering, and supporting technologies, especially telecommunications, information technology, and computers.
  11. The graduates have the knowledge and skills in the use of hardware and software needed in Engineering Electronics and Instrumentation Control.
  12. The graduates have the attitude and the ability in Entrepreneurships both individually and within a multidisciplinary team.
  13. The graduates have the ability to read scientific papers, speaking and writing technical reports and scientific reports in English.
