Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) got achievements again in Indonesia ICT Award, INAICTA 2011. IT Telkom won two awards and took home the INAICTA 2011 trophy. Awards that IT Telkom got are as The Winner in the category of Higher Education: Application and as a Merit Winner in the category of Security INAICTA (Indonesia ICT Award) 2011.
The INAICTA 2011 Winner Award fell to “Sparkins” application. The application is touch-based application for Perkins typewriter learning for children with visual impairment. The application is a solution to read and write for the blind on a tablet computer. This application uses the Chording Perkins Braille system. M. Endri Irfanie, Dwi Nugroho Cahyo, Arnanto Akbar, Asendia Mayco, Ahmad Agung Ahkam, Gita Savitri Putri, are members of the team that designed the application.
For Metir Winner Award INAICTA 2011 fell to a USB Key Motorcycle innovation. It is a system to replace manual key lock on a motorcycle with USB. Motorcycle Key USB is expected to reduce the risk of motorcycles theft. Rony Setyawan, Computer System Student of IT Telkom, which created this innovation.
Conferment Night of INAICTA 2011 held at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Wednesday (5 / 10). Trophies of INAICTA 2011 were directly given by the Ministry of Communication and Information, Tifatul Sembiring, to the winners of INAICTA 2011. Then, the winners of INAICTA 2011 will represent Indonesia in a similar event at a regional scope in the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) 2011 in Thailand.

He once held a position as the Head of Electronic System Laboratory and the Assistant Manager of Student Affairs Division. Currently, he is the Manager of Technology and Learning Method.
He is a lecturer of Faculty of Informatics. He comes from Yogyakarta. He began his career in 2005 as Designer and Developer of Integrated Learning System.
She was born on 1973 in Klaten. She is one of IT Telkom lecturers for Bahasa Indonesia under Faculty of Science
Once again, one of IT Telkom students earned outstanding award in national level. His name is Ahmad Agung Ahkam, an Informatics student from the class of 2007. He won achieved a gold medal in the National Mathematics and Science Olympic for University Students (ON MIPA-PT).
