In order to motivate and develop the interest of lecturers in generating scientific publications in the Textbook form that suitable with disciplines and courses, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education in the year 2011 held a socialization "Incentive Program in Writing College Textbook". 
Saturday (29/10), IT Telkom Faculty of Science in cooperation with Telkomsel organized Internet training for Highschool (SMA/SMK) teachers in West Java regional with theme: "Internet for Supporting Education Quality Improvement". This activity is one form of social service in the Faculty of Science. The training was attended by 50 SMA / SMK teachers and was held in the Multimedia, Learning Center, IT Telkom.Directorate of Research and Society Service (DP2M) of Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) organized a Workshop on Preparing and Maintaining Accreditation Strategy of Periodical Scientific Publications. The event took place at the Learning Centre IT Telkom Building, 5th floor, Thursday (27/10). The seminar was attended by participants from academia and government.
Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) Postgraduate organized Curriculum Seminar. The event took place in G Building of IT Telkom, Tuesday (25/10). The seminar took “ABET Accreditation” as the topic with Professor Eniman Yunus as speaker.
Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) Lecturers attended PEKERTI-AA (Peningkatan Ketrampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional) or Basic Skills of Instructional Techniques Improvement Workshop – Applied Approach. Workshop took place in ZTE meeting room at IT Telkom, Tuesday (25/10). One of workshop material discuss about importance of the implementation of Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Quality Assurance Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) Unit held Control Procedures Socialization, Wednesday (19/10). The event took place in Multimedia Room, Learning Center, IT Telkom. Socialization was intended for working units in IT Telkom. Quality Assurance Unit Manager, Ir. Sri Widaningrum, MT socialized every detail of these procedures.
After having successfully won the trophy in Indonesia ICT Award (INAICTA) 2011, Sparkins team of IT Telkom handed the trophy to the institution. In a symbolic, trophy was received by the Rector of IT Telkom, Ir. Ahmad Tri Hanuranto, MT. INAICTA 2011 trophy handover took place in Meeting Room of D Building, IT Telkom, Friday (7 / 10), witnessed by the deans and the heads of study programs.
Saturday (8/10), Telkom Institute of Technology organized Selecta Capita Course which discussed about Telecommunication Industries, especially in Next generation Network (NGN) and Long Term Evolution (LTE). Course which held in Multipurpose Building (GSG) IT Telkom was aimed for Eletrical and Communication Faculty Students.
Friday, September 30th, 2011, Bandung Techno Park (BTP) held a seminar titled "Policies for Preparing as Entrepreneurs Early". This seminar was held in the Multimedia Room, Learning Center, IT Telkom campus and attended by 60s student participants.

Once again, one of IT Telkom students earned outstanding award in national level. His name is Ahmad Agung Ahkam, an Informatics student from the class of 2007. He won achieved a gold medal in the National Mathematics and Science Olympic for University Students (ON MIPA-PT).
