Saturday (29/10), IT Telkom Faculty of Science in cooperation with Telkomsel organized Internet training for Highschool (SMA/SMK) teachers in West Java regional with theme: "Internet for Supporting Education Quality Improvement". This activity is one form of social service in the Faculty of Science. The training was attended by 50 SMA / SMK teachers and was held in the Multimedia, Learning Center, IT Telkom.
On the occasion, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Drs. Suwandi, MSi delivered the profile of the Faculty of Science of IT Telkom. Faculty of Science tries to develop research in Indonesia in order to achieve the nation, especially in the field of Information Technology.
The training was also attended by Bandung Telkomsel Branch Manager, Mr. Estining Putu which revealed that the technological advances of today no longer know the age, occupation and gender. He also told how elementary school students have been widely known information technology and telecommunications.
That training began with the opening and the introduction of the Internet conducted in the Multimedia Learning Center IT Telkom. Then the participants divided into small groups and also had photo together, then immediately had practices in laboratories located in Building C.
The training material revolved around the use of internet, how to maximize the internet and what role the Internet in education. The training was expected to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, so Indonesia will be not left behind, especially in the field of Information Technology.

He was born 1976. He is from Purwakarta. He is one of the lecturers of Faculty of Informatics. He began his career at IT Telkom since 2003. He once served as the Head of Computer System and Computer Network Laboratory. He was also the Head of Bachelor Program in Faculty of Informatics in 2008.
She was born on 1973 in Klaten. She is one of IT Telkom lecturers for Bahasa Indonesia under Faculty of Science
She was born on 1979 and comes from Semarang. She is a lecturer of Faculty of Informatics. She began her career as lecturer at IT Telkom in 2003.
He was born on 1966. He is a lecturer in Faculty of Informatics. He comes from Kulon Progo and began his career at IT Telkom in 2004
Once again, one of IT Telkom students earned outstanding award in national level. His name is Ahmad Agung Ahkam, an Informatics student from the class of 2007. He won achieved a gold medal in the National Mathematics and Science Olympic for University Students (ON MIPA-PT).
